What can be expected during recovery?
There will be some swelling and redness right after the treatment and the patient might feel a stinging sensation on their treated area. These aftereffects, however, will usually go down within two hours at max. After that it’s just a matter of protecting your skin against direct exposure to the sun and keeping it clean and moisturized. You might also experience flaky skin as the damaged layers continue to peel off, but moisturizing and regular cleaning should resolve that problem within 2 weeks.
